Your 1 best recipe for a longer life...

cleaning out your cells enviornment and keep it nourished. studies in a peetree dish kept a cell living for 27 years (about). this is unheard of for a single human cell. all they did was keep the extracellular fluid clean (switched fluid every day) and maintained nutrient status. the only reason it dioed was because someone forgot to clean out the fluid. so for us this would mean keeping our body clean through enviornment and detox. Bets way is diet and exercise, plenty of water, fresh fruits and veges...

I assume the whole point to life is to just LIVE IT, and not treat it like this priceless baseball card you've got to keep in mint condition by putting in two layers of plastic and never exposing to the sun. Yea, it may last a lot longer than others, but is length the only measure of a healthy life?? I cherish my quality of life so much more than my length. If you just live, and don't abuse yourself, the duration of your life will take care of itself.

Like Zebo said, and what so many others have already discovered is essential to a quality life: "Moderation is the key." The same principle was emphasized during the prime of the Classic Greek culture, but they just referred to it as balance. Life as we kow it, functions according to balance.

And since when the hell has exposure to the sun become dangerous???

Well put!
I also belive in the "quality" of life, not ness. the "quantity" of life, I live for the moment & in the moment. Whats the point of not indulging in all the taboo things in life just because they might or might not be good for you???, id rather go to my grave at 60 knowing that ive had a great life and tried just about everything, had fun, and experienced alot, than live my life as a goodie two shoes, with a pension fund, and all my bills paid, and wind up getting hit by a bus in my 40's or something...

but the key to live i believe is: everything or anything in moderation, & concentrate on the quality of life, NOT the quantity!

Why (specificly) is "fasting", a healthy thing to do??? and by fasting you DO mean NOT eating for extended periods of time correct??

How can you be so sure? Is it possible your just putting faith in your suppliments and granting them faulty appraise?

Not to pour water on this blanket, this 'longevity" thing is luck of the genetic draw. Hormones don't decrease and cause aging, aging causes hormone decrease. Hormonal decrease, in itself, is not the answer either, for all cells have a genetic life span built into the genetic code...each cell division causes the clock to progress on step...ticking away. The number of ticks you get are present at birth...so blame your parents for a short life. This, of course, assumes you are not a race car driver or a painter. I agree with the thoughts above, ... enjoy each day to the fullest, stress or not, and you will have a life well lived. A life spent worrying about its end is no life at all. I hope that none of us, on our death bed, are filled with "I wish I had'a 's " Better to do and to regret.
