I cannot vote for Bush after this medicare crap, the patriot act etc. And I surely cannot vote Dean, he is a tool. So I will "throw my vote away" . I live in VA, the republicans always win VA in presidential elections by a wide margin. So really either way it does not make a bunch of difference who I vote for.

Republicans WILL take a majority this time around, and they are continuing to alienate people that really do want a reduced government. A couple third parties really do stand a good chance at taking +20% of the vote this year. That will force them to cut back given enough time. Bush might not be the one to do it but his successor just might.
You fools talk about party realignments like they are fantasy but they have happened several times in our history and they will happen again. It is not hard to figure out that less and less people are satisfied with either the current republican or democratic parties. What the fuck do you think happens when people hate both parties?
