I was finally able to get my 500-point bond back yesterday without having to pay 1,000 to claim it. I made 6 Karma profit in just one month.

If we explore a little arithmetic...
Had I invested 2,000 rather than just 500 I'd have made 24 Karma profit over the 30 days. However, for the duration of the 30 days, my hitting power would have been reduced by one point. If we assume that someone whose posts I tend to approve every day had done the same then we'd have each lost 30 points in hits but gained 24 points on the bond. That would be a net loss to each of us of 6 points.

I'd suggest that bonds need to have their interest rate increased to at least 1.5% although they may already be a good option for hermits.

They might also currently be profitable for non-Plats since they need 4,000 for an extra point of hitting Power.
