You go tickling for catfish. Old southern tradition. Basically go into a swamp and try use your bare hands and reach under logs or underwater holes and other areas where catfish might be - or use your finger to troll the surface of the water like a worm and catch a catfish if it comes in. The problem is you can't see squat and there might be a gator or snapping turtle there. Needless to say there are plenty of good old boys missing a finger or two who have practiced this fine art.
