It's hard to call "the" male sex hormone a pro-hormone. Just because it can convert to something else in supraphysiological situations doesn't change what it is. It's purpose is served in it's original state. That's like saying that carbs are fats because they can be converted into bodyfat in the body.

That is definitely true. I think of a pro-hormone as something that has to convert into something else to get the desired effect. The conversion of test into estrogen and DHT is generally not desired, but just part of it.

I love that McGwire said he only used andro and get to 300 pounds. It's cute. Bonds was definitely pumped full of drugs. All of the guys who have been in home run contention are.

Pat Arnold felt Anadrol exerted most of its anabolic effects via conversion.

I honestly feel that baseball was played at a higher level back in those days. Error free games are almost the norm for the top clubs.

The concentration of todays players is broken by their need to spend millions of dollars...and track it.

Via conversion to what? Anadrol is not completely solved in terms of why it does what it does. It definitely can be estrogenic and is thought to increase prolactin also. AI's don't seem to work well with Drol, because it apparently affects a different pathway. I'm interested in what you know about this.

The game has definitely changed immensely. You routinely see scores of 10+ for a single team in many games. The days of small ball and strategy are falling by the way side. The sac bunts and hitting the ball the other way to advance a runner are not of the importance that they once were.

He didn't go into details. However, based on my own experimentation I found 4-ad injectable about 80% as effective as a similar dosage of the same ester testosterone. It's anecdotal evidence and I was actually surprised by its effectiveness. I tracked my BF, diet and lifts in an attempt to debunk it and was proven wrong by my own results. I posted a thread years ago about it on EF. Take it for what it is, since he sold it, but Pat thought 4-ad actually converted 90% to testosterone. I guess my point is that a lot of people make judgements wthout actually investigating.

Needles don't phase me as long as im holding them....but if a doctor gives me a shot i'll pass out!! no shit!

anyways.....i've taken pretty much every steroid known to man at one point or another...pills and injectables
