anybody else get this?

it feels like everywhere i go when i meet someone all they talk about is how jacked and awsome i am and how i should help them with a routine.

im always like "sure man we will go to the gym together sometime and kick our muscles's asses"

but i never actually will.

maybe if it was a girl then id get their number and take them to the gym for a spinning class hehe

Ugh I hate the dudes that invite themselves to workout with you. Gotta be upfront with people Sublime, you're just like everyone else in college - full of shit haha.

I work out with a 34 year old chick on Leg DAys - we kick each others asses.

Do you think they really want to work out with you. Or are they just trying to befriend you in hopes that you dont do them bodily harm on one of those days where you just feel like smashing someone for the fun of it

i get peeps asking me too.
usually middle aged fatties trying to regain high school glories...i simpilify and tell them dl on mon, bp on wens and sq on friday.
mix in some misc exercises for auxillary muscles.
bam, easy to explain and gets them off your back

its about calories in and hiit cardio.

i am a low calorie person. means i hang onto my mass with very little caloric intake yet my bf stays too. to deal with the bf, hiit cardio. cheat very little, like saturday night dinner and dessert. you'll be ripped. just find out what type of calorie person you are. if youre lucky you can eat alot. im not like that but it took years to figure that out.

the protein thing is bullshit too. 2.4 to 2.6 g per KG of bodyweight is all you need. excess protein gets turned into fat much quicker and easier than say excess healthy fats. if youre carb sensitive, avoid dextrose/wazy maize pwo - thats bullshit too.

cause it really doesnt do what you think. the whole pwo shake is so overstated. i know very few people who do not use whole food and most have a protein and healthy fat with carbs, some do protein and fat. some do a protein and a carb. that whole insulin spike blunting cortisol is bs. you could produce enough of an insulin spike with whey protein alone without having the sugar.

my best suggestion is try different pwo meals for 3 to 4 week periods and see for yourself. there is little to no difference. when i do protein and fat pwo i lean out much, much quicker.

try new things. most people on here screaming dietary rules have never tried anything else, they follow the leader. not combining things in certain meals, 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight or no muscle growth can happen. its bs. try for yourself and see. you will save a ton of money on food and supplements. your body reacts differently then everyone elses. trying to find out what works is the only real way to figure it out. dont forget, there are people with agendas giving advice everywhere. the only person on this board whose info i would pay for is omega's because new training routines are always effective and can be implemented for years.
