I think I might start doing yoga. I'm fairly flexible (at least I hope I am). Has anyone tried it before, and what did you think of it? I'm thinking it might be a good stress reliever.
For a Guy, I'm ok flexibility wise..
I took a yoga class at the Y and never had a better stretch
and the funny thing is compared to Old school stretching, you
don't feel as much discomfort..
Hatha yoga is good (I think it's the most common). Never tried Ashtanga, but it's supposed to be more strength and endurance-based. I've done a couple of classes. Go for it.
I did it for a while. My understanding is that there's two types of moves... stretching moves and strength building moves. The stretching moves are nice... the strength building ones hurt. haha. The classes were 3 days a week... and those were some of the best nights of sleep I've ever had.
