Listen man, I have read these recent articles on finastride and Test. You seem frustrated with the responses that you are getting and you are not the only one. I am taking test right now and I am taking finastride for the first time as well. Now I am getting worried because I do not want to take all of this Test for nothing. If you or anyone else comes to an actual conclusion with some facts behind it, please respond on this thead
I would very much like to get to the bottom of this, as I am sure everyone else would as well

Test and Finastride

I would like to hear from anybody who has used finastride while on Test. Were your gains good as expected or did finastride definitly fuck your cycle up. I wanna hear from people who have experienced first hand

I have done many test based cycles with finasteride - Ive made good gains each time - I am not frusterated with the theory but somewhatfrusterated with the responses when I ask where they got the info from as its been passed around as if it was fact the past 2 days. Before yesterday I have never heard once that it inhibited gains of test - thats why I was so suprised when I heard it yesterday then today someone passing it on like it was fact (Im assuming the first place he read it was yesterday). From personal exprerience I know it doesnt inhibit gains - I was looking for something to their argument fact/science behind it.

I asked Mac on this board (who I trust implicitly with info like this) about it and he said basically that it doesnt inhibit gains to any noticable degree - Ill try to bump the thread so you can read his exact words.

the best effect from DHT is CNS.. strength... as far as anabolism.. not in any systemic models.. in some isolated tissues (may increase bone mass more)(in animal studies this has been implied though to extrapolate is VERY UNWISE, especially since this activity may be non-ar mediated).

so on the whole.. the answer is NO.. dht is not more anabolic.

finasteride combats dht - the theory that weve been hearing was that dht is more anabolic than testosterone - if that was true then finasteride would inhibit the gains of test by limiting the amount of dht.

I don't think finasteride limits test's effectiveness noticably, from personal experience over a few years.

I have never in my life heard of that and I bagan to get worried
I have done cycles with test before but this is my first with finastride. I do not want to waste my cycle because of finastride
You said you have done a test cycle with finastride and it did not considerably fuck up gains. I would consider that factual information that could back the argument FOR finastride. Im gonna trust your opinion and continue the use of finastride

I got a little pissed off when I heard that the finastride I paid too much for was going to fuck up my cycle

If your using test proscar (finasteride) will protect your hairline and your prostrate. It isnt cheap but its worth it. Dont use it with deca for sure though, and know that it only helps with test.

DHT has a much longer activity life with the A/R than does test,but it's anabolic(protein-influencing) activity once it's interacted with chromatin is inferior to testosterone.It has some peripheral activity that can heighten strength,but this is over-rated IMO.I to have ran test both with and without Proscar,and the difference is completely negligable for me.
