it should be interesting to see how many times and in how many different ways President Bush steps on his own crank. ;)

yep. close race.

a couple of friends are coming over to hang and actually watch. I'm interested to see how the WMD plays out tonight. It should be a good time.

The WMD thing will be played up by kerry, but the real meat of that report was the amount of corruption surrounding the ineffectual sanctions on Iraq and the fact that the countries we were relying on to help make the sanctions work were undermining them. These are the same countries that Kerry thinks will help us now.

Honestly, I think the Bush administrations biggest mistake was playing up the WMD's. Of course, all intelligence pointed to them being there. Intelligence that Kerry saw and wholeheartedly agreed with. Now Kerry has the luxury of playing Monday morning quarterback and forgetting his statements made at the time of the war being started. He is clearly a spineless douchebag who will say anything to be elected. The amazing thing is that people are actually buying his bullshit. Of course, a lot of people read the Enquirer and World News and believe it.

LOL@the unbelievable amount of Dubya apologists...I seem to recall when Dubby and his henchman were trying to ram this approval through, them using an almost threatening statement,"You're either with us,or your with the terrorists."They basically took advantage of the post 911 panic and momentum to force this disgusting farce down the throats of everyone, and literally made anyone questioning it look like they were with the terrorists.Which is such a joke, because this had NOTHING to do with terrorism,as anyone who has done the least bit of homework can easily figure out.

Say what you will about Kerry,DUBYA AND HIS ADMIN were the masterminds behind this embarassing debacle-Period.

You have your opinions... I respect that. They are wrong, but that is what makes the US great. I am no longer going to personally attack people on this board. There is too much hate flowing surrounding this election. We can thank the democrats and their deperate grab for power for that. Some of the "he lied" rhetoric is absolutely disgusting. I really think the DNC needs to get rid of Terry McCaullife. He is one of the most vile human beings alive.

The plan for regime change in Iraq was started under Clinton. Bush only enacted the plan. In the end I believe the effort in Iraq will start a domino effect across the region. Let's face it, Saddam was an unstabilizing factor in the Middle East and to think that there are no ties to Al Quaeda or terrorism in Iraq is silly. Many plots that directly effect the US were thwarted because of the information found in Iraq. The unfortunate part of these debates is that Bush can't tout all the successes in thwarting terrorism because it would compromise operations. Kerry has the luxury of calling everything a failure.

Well I agree with you on the domino effect.Unfortunately, that domino effect is not in stabilization, but the INCREASE in global hatred towards our country due to arrogance displayed by those who are still praising this farce and actually ENCOURAGING it.It has increased ten-fold with each arrogant rebuttal, excuse and day that passes by.Very sad and embarrassing simultaniously.Thank goodness some folks are not still listening to the brainwashing bullshit being spewed.

BTW,for the upteenth time,I sit with NEITHER of these parties, and they are ALL lying sacks of shit IMO.The only reason I hope Dubya is expelled is that he and his admin are some of the most war-mongering,dangerous thugs I have ever seen, and I fear that another 4 years under these people will magnify the already dangerous environment to an exaggeratingly frightening level.Kerry is another half of the skull-n-bones special interest chosen elitists, but he seems a lot less bent on invading and conquering half the planet than our destructor in chief.

The same things were said when Reagan's efforts toppled communism. Time will tell.

yes. exactly what i also believe.

President Bush had the choice to enact the invasion plan....or NOT to enact the plan.

perhaps if he had actully been in Viet Nam, and not hiding out in the National Guard, he would not had been so eager to sacrifice our county's men and our national reputation into yet another unwinable war on foreign soils.

no matter who wins the election, our country and our troops are comitted to this second viet nam for how many years and how many lives lost and how much tax dollars wasted? :worried:

for this alone, he cannot/should not be re-elected.
