IMO he single handedly handed the Fed it's ASS on national television and caused Bernanke to open the discount window. He's a badass, mediocre stock picker though.

the discount window was lowered and yes he blew up but thats not what caused it.


please banks are still lending at rates they were prior before the fed funds rate was dropped. good look getting a good rate on a non conf loan.

prime is still the same
30 yr mortgages are based off the "t"
banks havent changed their pricing or rates
non conf rates have gone up recently

Problem is his show doesn't let him tell people to short. The way he built his show is long picks. He has come up with some very good picks for me but you need to do your own DD. I short and use puts and calls so I can make money no matter what the market is doing. Flat is bad for me. When Crammer had his hedge fund he shorted, in fact he was short enron before he closed up shop. LOL. Think he was short 15 million shares of enron when they went belly up.

Barrons did a review of his on air picks a few weeks ago - he fell short of the S&P500.

in fact the best advice is short his picks a day later (after the bump he causes) lol - THAT was a consistent winning strategy
