xenical

Does anyone know anything about xenical? My friend takes it with synthroid and cytomel for an underactive thyroid. I wonder if it was something I could take while I am dieting for my competition. I am researching now. Thanks for any help.

Xenical blocks the absorption of dietary fat. If you eat alot of fat, this could help, though most tend to overeat carbohydrates.

In addition, it is associated with some gastrointestinal disturbances that I will not go into any great detail one (hint: that fat has to go somewhere).

I have used Xenical and the above info is correct. Let me emphasize the gastrointestinal DISTRESS. You probably don't want to go there. You loose some control too. I really don't want to get too graphic.
