that's pretty cool, but I can do all that on my computer

i guess if you prefer the controls? but you can also buy the same controls and hook it up to your PC

Yeah... it's even worth beating a houseful of your friends to death with a baseball bat over.

Xbox has the most impressive games to me but not enough of them. Plus no controller compares to the PS2 but I play them both. So with a shitload of good games availbe for cheap PS2 is the best thing going out there if you had to just have one system.

Yeah, how is Sega doing these days? lol

Are they even still around? Last I heard they were getting out of the hardware industry and doing software/games only. That was years ago, though.

I still play Road Rash on the PC.

Ditto. I also hate the xbox controllers. Mouse+keyboard is the only way to play an fps game.

yeah, NES had shitty graphics, but they had the most original game concepts, since they had so little technology to work with.

i will never forget the legend of zelda and where i was when i first played it. that will be a more memorable experience for me than the birth of my first child.

Xbox is awesome. What is there not to like about te controller. It is basically the same as the PS2 except for it is a little bigger, im sorry if its to big for you guys lil hands ;) JK. But xbox games are a lot better. Compare a game for PS2 that is also made for X box the XB version is better. Plus the system is more powerful and the built in hard drive iis really handy. Im voting for XBOX but PS2 is till a great system.

I was just saying the pc is much better. Mouse+keyboard are a lot more versatile than the lame little joysticks on the xbox controllers.

Hell yeah, dude. As long as they have good software development for it, nothing can equal it.

With games like Burnout 3, (and hopefully MK: Deception will be good), it is the system to have.

And to think I fiercely vilified it when it first came out. Well, it certainly has proven itself to be a worthy entry into the videogame market. I eat my words. :RADAR

I disagree. It is much more enjoyable to simply turn on a console, which can be connected to a big screen t.v. and surround sound, and start playing, rather than having to "install" the game, and make sure your pc has enough power and the right sound/video card, as well as a decent controller. Using the mouse and keyboard for videogames just isn't the same.

Microsoft has done well by creating a console, not to mention the most powerful one on the market to date.

bo den,how did your ps2's break? mines been going strong with tons of use as a dvd player also

and I also agree with the statement about the ps2 controller being better then xbox, even though ebox reduced the size they still arent as easy as ps2,but I like alot of their games

I actually like the xbox controller better, it fits better in your hand and makes the PS2 controller feel too small. I had a PS2 that broke also, thats why I went out and picked up my xbox a couple years ago.

I have a 22 inch monitor, which is bigger than my TV - with a 7 speaker system and subwoofer......my computer blows anything else I own out of the water....but that's just prolly cuz I'm a computer nerd. Whatchu talkin bout it's a pain to "install" the game....it takes 20 seconds....as for the right video/sound card...if you know what you're doing you will have enough power to run ANY game and then some.

What games are the xbox known for except Halo?

I have a Ps2, but my dad had nabbed it. SO im considering getting a new system. Either Ps2 or Xbox.

Guess what's coming out on Tuesday?

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT!!!!

You'll have to excuse me if you don't see me post for eons.

That's cool, but for me, it's more hassle than I like to deal with when playing videogames. I like to plug in and play, especially on a 36" screen with surround sound. I liked Doom for the pc, and played that a lot. But other than that, no pc game appealed to me. Consoles just feel more like videogames to me than pc games do.
It's all a matter of personal preference.

God I'm a nerd.
