They really need new costumes for the next one... I mean that leather gay S&M biker outfit is not all that. It looks like they were recruited out of San Fran.
 
good movie but the violence was dumbed down for the pg-13.
 
was I the only one that was utterly sick of cyclops this movie? he is lame and the actor playing him has no life in his character.

I only wished they utilized Colossus a lot more. He was much better than that insipid Pyro. I was so annoyed by that lighter flickering.

And why couldn't she use her powers without having to tilt that head so lamely? Her eyes would go white and then...... >>tilt<< like she fell asleep.

Mystique finally got a chance to showcase herself and she kicked ass...

Though the fight with Deathstrike started good, it ended up lame. I mean, when she had logan pinned to the metal platform... she reached around and retracted her nails to hold him by the throat. I would have tried to open his throat and cut his head off or gone for the eyes or something.

Is anyone else here an X-men comic fan?

If so, you (probably) noticed the Phoenix symbol in the water at the end when you hear Jean Greys voice talking about evolution, and If you are not a fan of the comics, you probably have no idea what the fuck Im talking about!

I was afraid there might be a sexual interlude between Nightcrawler and Mystique, which would've been pretty gross seeing as to how shes his mother.

Anyone catch that Jubilee has been in both movies, yet has no speaking parts?

Seeing as how wolverine has tissue regenerative mutant abilities, if his head were cut off would he ...

a)Grow a new head on his body.
b)Grow a new body for his head.
c)Both.
d)Die.

Actually with an adanium skeleton, you can't cut his head off.

I remember one fight he had with Tiger Shark in the comics.. Tiger Shark rammed his claws into a coral reef under the water and he could not retract them to escape... he stayed stuck there for 3 days drowning and his system reviving him over and over again...


Yes, Jean is becoming Phenix very powerful... I think she was a villian later on.

I got out of reading comics about 5yrs ago, need to get back into it.

I was thinking she ended up being villian, and they had to kill her at the end of the Phoenix rising saga. Would be a cool villian for awhile.

But you know she will have to come back to the good side so her and that putz Scott can have baby Cable/Stryfe.
 
Yeah... my favorite saga of the Xmen was the Morlock Massacre, where the Mauraders were killing all the Morlocks underground.

This is where they crucified the Angel and he had to have his wings amputated. One of the killers Harpoon was killed when Thor threw his hammer in his face. Colossus broke another's neck and I believe Wolverine killed one as well.

How far back was that? Are you talking "Angel" before Apoc infected him and made him ArcAngel?


Did you follow the X-universe when they had the alternate universe? someone went back and killed Prof X(Im thinking it was the Jason character in the movie), which created a warp, and bishop had to go through time and try and correct things.

Also, what about the Phalynx saga-kinda a spin off of StarTreks Borgs, though Im not sure which came first.

I agree her hair looked better. And I don't recall Jubilee in the second but I'm sure she was there. I'll look for her again. I remember seeing her in the classroom when Professor X was explaining the school to Wolverine. And she was one camera longer looking dumb/surprised after Rouge borrow Wolverine's healing after accidentally getting stabbed by him. I'm assuming that was Jubilee. A young Asian girl with short hair.

And now, you have knowledge of the comics as well?

This is pretty much what I said when I left the movie. Cyclops is a wuss...and they needed to use Colossus. Even if he was "young" at this point in the story line...a young Colossus is much more entertaining than a Cyclops at any age.

I knocked you because you hero worshipped and fantasized about being symbolic with the Xmen. I guess the "Men" part eliminates you.

Not only did I play with Barbies, but I staged some of the hottest lesbian sex scenes you could ever imagine.

Yeah it was before that.. this was when Calisto still ruled the Morlocks that lived in their own city under Manhattan. He later had his wings replaced with the new ones he has.

I also like the Brood saga that was out.
