Remembering back a couple years, wasn't there good and bad aliens? In one episode, Scully got abducted off the bridge? Those were the good guys. And in this episode, I'm thinking the were also the good aliens, there to protect Scully and the baby. I liked the reference to the light (star) in the sky, and the "special" baby. Krycheck and the FBI crew were the bad guys, going waaaaaay back to the smoking guy........damn, I need to get a life.

but what doesn't make sense is the that one alien fbi guy who let the other alien guy get mushed in the garbage truck... maybe to throw the army guy and crychek (bad sp) off the track somewhat?? i dunno.

I agree with smallmovesal here. i could not bleieved that they kissed, but even more that krychek is dead ! Oh well just wait till next season to see what happens

First, who says Krycheck is dead? He has been dead before, and he could very well be one of those replacements.

The producer said that he would never have the two of them become romantically involved as that would ruin the dynamics of the show. I have to agree. So, I see them as kissing as the sign that they are done and that what's his name and that other girl are now the new team of X-files investigators.

They have set up some personal history between them and it seems it could work. I think there is a lot left that could be done with the show.

As for last nights episode it was way cool, especially with the spinning vertabrae rebuilding itself.

Duchovny, sued Fox a while ago over salary discrepancy's or something like that, and I believe that may also have signaled his wanting to leave. Gillean Anderson has stated that she would like to get away and start doing other roles, especially in movies. She feels she is getting burnt out and that she may be stereo typed into unemployment is my feeling of how she feels.

It will be back next year for sure and probably for sometime after. It fills a cult niche that would be hard to fill if it did leave. There is still a big cult following and I am one.

I thought that shit had finished a long time ago... I was a fan in the first 2/3 seasons... After that it became boring as hell and it lost TV ratings... I think the tv network that had bought the rights before lost its interest on the new seasons...

i would think krychek wasn't dead except in the promo it said one man would die (which i expected to be mulder). and i was surprised at the kiss because i had heard the same thing about it ruining the dynamics.

There were no lesbian overtones. More like mutual inborn womanly care for another of her kind mixed with anxiety, cause those two kind of had their differences and never broke the ice too deep. What sad times we live in when a simple caring hand on someone's shoulder implies gay overtones.
