Wtf

I have been smoking for more than 12 years and quit last Friday or Saturday. Now It's kind of weird and all sorts of crap is happening to me.

For example, I trained yesterday and after training I threw up - I thought it was my food (I never throw up) then exactly the same thing happens today. I get home, changed and head down to the gym. 40 minutes in, I start feeling sick so take it lightly then I get home and throw up again :(

Another weird thing is I will go to bed at night time - around 10pm give or take 30 minutes and then (approximately) 1.5 hours in to my sleep I wake up and feel like I need to get changed and ready for work before realising I havent been sleeping for more than 2 hours.

Is this stuff normal?

Suggestions?

A lot of different withdrawal symptoms from smoking.
Maybe go slower on your workouts until your body adjusts.
Give yourself a couple of weeks to adjust and get used to everything.
I’ve been there and it is worth it in the end.
If it does persist, see a Dr.
Good luck with the no smoking.

Di9d you quit cold turkey or supplementing with drugs and nicotine products?

Props to you man. I used Zyban to "Stop" dipping but I put on a ton of weight so that sux.
I can't emphasize enough how awesome it is that you "stopped" smoking. Good job!!!
p.s. Quitting is such a terrible word.

I don't smoke but my buddy has been giving me all this free Nicorette Gum. That shit is kinda habit forming. I fed some to the Coi at the Jap Steakhouse the other night. They seemed to like it too.

LOL nice!

LOL - I tried that gum and it actually made me wanna smoke!

Today, same crap!

Trained back, got home, threw up :(

I hope this ends soon!!

I quit cold turkey and know lots of others who have as well. Vomiting is not a common withdrawal symptom. In fact, after 3 days w/o nicotine, your physical dependence on the drug is gone; then the real battle begins (i.e. the psychological one).

Be aware that something else may be occurring in your body at the same time. If this keeps up, say for another day or so, skip a couple of workouts and check in with your doctor.
