they started a new thing here where i live that we have to recycle....It is up to us to get the recycling bins, and all that.. they only allow us to have 1 bin.and they cut down our pick up from 3 days to 2 days now...i live in a buisness area so there is a lot of trash..well we all put our trash outside so they came and picked it up today...they left all the boxes out on the side walk because that is recyclable so now I wonder if all these buisnesses will leave the boxes out there untill recycling day......it looks terrible out there

thats how it is here: its the same day, but they just come at different times, thats it. 3 trucks are coming - garbage, recycle and weeds

We use a lot of large paper here. We checked into recycling it but they wanted to charge us like $60 per month to recycle it.

Now we just throw it in the trash.

we have regualr trash mon and thur...recycling on wed....then of course if we want to throw any thing over a certain weight limit we have to call set up a time and pay to have it removed...as far as leaves and weeds go no one picks them up we have to bag it up and take it to a certain cemetary and they burn it there....i hate this town/so called city

We have 4 (four) yep, you read right: FOUR, different containers for our trash: organic, recyclable, Glass and non-recyclable.

3 different truck comes once every 2 weeks for all the stuff except the glass (that one come once a month)

Our trash containers all have bar codes, the truck has bar code readers (for billing purposes). Using that for other ideas is only one step further.

Then again, the reason behind recycling is not dding because YOU HAVE TO, but because you understand the damage you do the environment by not doing.

It seems odd to me there is so much people who simply don't give a fuck about it... that is the mentality that brought us Global warming and all the man-made environment-related issues : "nehhh, the earth is big enough, it will be just fine"

dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with recycling but they should come the same day as trash does so the streets dont look nasty!
