Now listen, I'm all for govt. intervening against companies that try to put out legitimate sounding drugs without having done any sort of real human trials. Alot of the big pharm companies are guilty of rushing out "very" powerful drugs that end up having unforeseen side effects because they were rushed through the FDA's accredidation process.......no doubt with some good money exchanging hands. But supplements and herbs are in a different category of pharmacology than say statin drugs for example. More often than not, those "cancer pills" you describe just don't do shit.......they don't harm anything because they don't really elicit a biological response. That's just fraud. But anyone who buys something over the counter expecting it to cure something as serious as cancer, well there's something wrong there. Now I actually do beleive in holistic approaches to curing disease's, but they still take work on the part of the affected. For these powerful afflicitons like AIDS and cancer, nothing is as simple as just going to the local pharmacy and picking up a bottle of something. The holistic approaches only work when the person dedicates themselves to "MASSIVE" lifestyle changes.
