I have a USB input adapter for my camera memory stick.....If I plug it in, it says it is working properly....as soon as I plug the card in i get an I/O device error.....I'm not sure what to do. Was going to post up some progress pics.

Well....I used probably 2 weeks ago without a problem.......but it is weird...i have different software that will find it other than windows, but as soon as I put the flash card in, the program(s) freeze up......seems like it may be the card, but I just used it to take pics and I viewed them on my camera without a problem.

Hmm.... sounds like the drivers might be dicked up.

Is this a Sony Memory disk?

Did you have to load up any software for the card reader to work? If you did, uninstall the software and re-install it.

It must be the card.....I put in a blank 32MB flash card and it reads it.....

When I put the "bad" card in my camera, my camer also locks up and the lights start flashing.....I don't know how they can go bad in the manner of minutes.

I've had a few go bad. They have a finite amount of read/write cycles they can do. I've bought some very cheaply priced cards and they died an early age.

If its gone bad once, it will probably go bad again.

Fuck I'm pissed now...I had quite a few pics on there that i wanted.

I lost over 100 pics from a Jamaica trip once... Now I clear out pics from the flash pretty fast.

That is weird. I use both flash and microdisks and have never had a problem. Even dropped them a couple of times and sent one through the washer!

I've had flash disks that have lasted for years....I've also had a couple that died a quick death. The bargain basement ones died fast. I won't buy cheap ones again.
