When i do preacher curls or any curls for my bicepts my wrists hurt like hell. Particularly on the outside. I am just coming off a torn tendon, and am only doing really light curls 20 lbs etc, just to keep busy.
use a straight bar when you can. it will give added strenght that you wont get from a curl bar. hense making the pain go away faster. also try to wrap the wrist but dont get used to a wrap cause it will hinder your gains. do reverse grip on a curl bar to add strength to your upper forearms and that will help your wrist as well. good luck and ddont give up.
Thats what caused it i think was the reverse grip on the curled bar. i was pounding my forearms a month ago, and it never really went away. I had to take today off, we got 6 inches of snow.
Well part of it is aty work i sometimes dump 50 - 75 lb bags of shit, into a giant blender, and you have the drop it into the manhole, it does put a great force on the forearms, considering i did over 12,000 lbs in a day.

Probably tendonitis. You should rest it
Do back work for biceps and see if those hurt.
Stop curling for a while.
Also avoid using a straight bars on a preacher bench. I've had nagging pain for a long time doing this
