Wrists & Forearms

Several of my exercises are often limited by my wrists and forearms burning out before the targeted muscles do. For example, I have to quit curling to rest my wrists and forearms before my biceps are truly fatigued. What are the best exercises to strengthen these often overlooked areas?

I like the forearm curl for building more endurance than strength.

My best suggestion is to make sure you do as much as you can on every lift especially rows, pull-ups/downs, etc. and when your grip goes add straps to keep going. Straps can help on curls too but only use them when needed. Just try to push a little farther everytime so that you build up the forearms and don't just let them lag behind.

Cheers,
Scotsman
