Wrist Straps

I've never really thought about it before but...

Do you wear your wrist straps with the long end passing under the ball of your thumb or with the loop passing under the ball of the thumb?

Does it make any difference either way?

I've been using straps for about 8 years but I couldn't say off of the top of my head!
Just reached into my training bag and got my Dorian Yates' Approved lifting straps out tried them on both ways. I definitely always have the loop pointing to my thumb and the long strap running towwards the ring finger.
 
Ditto.

I don't use mine much but I plan to use them a lot more as I'm starting power shrugs for a while. I got some new knee wraps and was trying them on and slipped the straps on too like some baddass dorky mofo and for some reason thought about which way the straps should be going.
 
I try lifing hard without them, but for real maxes I need them:

Deadlift:
No straps: 485lb
Straps:.....550lb

Rack dead:
No straps: 485lb
Straps:.....600lb+

Chins
No straps: 20ish
Straps.......18 with 45lb plate!

Bent rows:
N0 straps: 245 x 8
Straps:.....295 x 7

All beltless, but you get the picture!
