be deaf or be blind? I was discussing this with a friend earlier. She thinks your hearing is the most precious. Frankly, I would rather lose my hearing that my sight. How could you really miss out on sunsets, looking in someone's eyes, lots of things?

I'd have to go with hearing. My grandmother has had hearing problems for a long time...and just recently was diagnosed with glaucoma. So...she will eventually lose her sight. It hurts me so bad to think about that...because I know how she loves to drive her jeep...and she just really loves the little things in life.

I'm so glad that I take after her. I love her with all my heart and soul.

It would really suck to never hear my favorite music anymore, the roar of a throaty V8 revving at 6K, or the sound of my girlfriend's breathy voice as I kiss her breasts, but I'd rather keep my eyesight so I can look deep into her gorgeous brown eyes, admire the blue smoke coming out when the tires let loose, or watch every day begin and end. What a horrible choice to make, though.
