I'm my mom's primary care giver, since my father passed away. I take care of her medicine and everything. I let her think that it's coming out of her money, but in reallity I pay for most of it out of my pocket.

No credit card needed in my one horse town. We still operate on the charge account system here. They think they are charging it to themselves but in reality the store owners are charging it to me. My parents are kind of older so they never question when they don't get a bill at the end of the month and by that time, they have usually forgotten that they even purchased something.

SHIT! WHAT STATE DO YOU LIVE IN?
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, WE'D GO OUT TO A RESTAURANT AND SOMETIMES (OCCASIONALLY) PAY FOR SOME OLD PEOPLES MEALS, OR GET THEM A BOTTLE OF WINE OR SOMETHING.
