I did.

My In-Law`s neighbors were an old couple. The wife died and the husband was never the same. My wife`s father saw the guy in his car one day with the motor running and a hose from the exhaust into his car. He called 911 and was saved.

The guy got therapy after that and said "that was a stupid thing I did"... etc...

A while later, My wife`s father AGAIN found the guy in his basement hanging from the ceiling beams with a rope around his neck. If I remember correctly, He even took him down from there. He was already dead.

Well a few years later I bought the house. I know the exact location where the body was hanging.

Is that creepy? It does`nt really bother me. I actually gutted the whole house and redid everything. That won`t change any ghosts. lol but it DOES look totally different.

and NO I did`nt get it at a steal of a price because of that.

When we lived in CA. our neighbors told us a guy hung himself in our garage. I never went into the garage alone after hearing that bit of info. Gave me the willies knowing someone died in those rafters.

Nope, I'd prolly pass on a death house!

I told my wife, There are so many houses that people have died in. Remember houses are 60 80 100+ years old. Not everybody dies on the streets.

Pick any old huse and there are probably numerous people that have died in them.

Of course not as many suicides but...

Does the seller have to disclose that? Just curious......

Only in Mass. do you have to disclose a "death house".

Weird realestate laws.

I'd only buy it if it were the one sharon tate was hacked up in.

"See that spot there?"

"yeah"

"That's where sharon tate died."

My parents house had a guy die in the basement, but it was natural causes.

It wouldn't bother me. I live in a house that has been added on to. The original part was built in the mid 1900's, so who knows what all has happened in that place.

You never know, maybe you will have a ghost pal to keep you company.

Not sure. We knew because we were next door neighbors. They rented the house after that for a while then put it up for sale.

Depends on the condition of the dead seller's body. If they rotted in 100 degree heat for a few weeks, getting them to write a lot of info. without limbs could be tough!
