Would this be a good lunch alternative?

I have always struggled with eating a healthy lunch...being on the road all day and being to lazy to get up and pack a healthy lunch I always bought something on the road...half the time it was fast food.....so today I'm driving by a supermarket and it just hits me...why dont I just go in and buy 3/4 lb of sliced turkey breast from the deli and eat that...with nothing else...its enuf to fill me up for a while, hardly no fat, plenty of protien....so what do you guys think? Good idea just eating plain turkey? seems like a great idea to me...and very easy..and not bad..i may get tired of it after a few weeks...but then maybe just move to chicken breast or a flavord turkey of some sort

i don't know your background as far as if your a bodybuilder , or on a diet, but i have a hard time at lunch on the road, so what i do is make it at home,i eat- 8oz chicken breast,1/2 cup brown rice, and 1 srv broccoli, with 20 almonds / EOD i substute the rice for sweet potato ect, or chicken with steak(trim fat)buy the leanest, you can't expect to eat one thing and get what you need....proper nutrition is the key bro.
 
You may want to throw some fats and/or carbs in with that. If you were on the road that much I'd buy a jar of ANPB to keep with you and just eating a serving with it. Or for some carbs, get you some water and oats, eat the oats raw, drink some water then chew.

I know I had a few people at work try it and they said they wouldn't need a drink before they started chewing the oats up and ended up gagging and choking because it stuck to the back of their throats. Either of those can be a quick fix for fats and carbs.

If you're too lazy to pack a lunch you're in the wrong sport.
