would higher carbs work?

i was thinking about shaking up my diet a bit, to see if any changes would occur.
if i increase carbs, decreased fat, so that my overall cals were lowered, and i took 100-200mg r-ala before each meal...would this work - in terms of cutting?

at the moment im only having low gi carbs before and hi gi after training...the rest of the day is green veg.

Ide say total carbs on a training day is currently 60g (excluding fiberous green veg - brocc, green beans etc).

any opinions?

Well, this all depends: is the diet you are currently on working for you? if so, then don't change things up. Otherwise you could add some more carbs during the day w/ some r-ala.

Yup - if you've reached a plateau (no new gains - or losses in your case) I'd switch up my ratios...

My favorite bodybuilding mantra has always been:

Everything works - but nothing works for long.

its not that my current diet ISNT working, but i think if i changed things around it could be even better (or worse or that matter).

i do feel im plateauing though..

rez, I think when you plateau you will know...then we can change it up...for now, it would be smart to keep the diet the same if it is working
