Australia vs Uruguay
I can't believe i woke up at 5am to watch that disgraceful display of a game. I guess you couldn't really expect Australia go get through anyway, especially against Uruguay and on that extremely shit ground and being only 1 goal up.
But the match really did show Farina's inexperience. Some of his decisions were absolute pathetic. He pretty much lost us the game.
I recon the best of the 2 legs were definately Vidmar and Emerton. As for Kewell, well it's about time to get his selfish arogant ass of the Australian side. His heart isn't with Australia but with England. I couldn't believe the sitters both Kewell and Viduka missed. Unbeliveable.
Anyway it was a very sad day for me. At least England are there and this time should go very well.
I predict a cup final between England vs Argentina.
GO ENGLAND!

I hear Viduka is retiring?

No predictions. I'll wait for the draw first to see who plays who.

I was going to pick France again but Barthez the butthead has been in a fog lately. Maybe Brazil can get their act together in the next 6 months.

yeh he said he might be...
although i'm gonna be missing Tony Vidmar more who will be going soon (easily one of Australias best)
looking at the squads, england does look pretty unbeatable, specially with the new coach

england looks ok.....they are shaky at times. if scholes has a good tourney, and if owen is healthy, they should do well.
i think argentina is looking very strong and could take it all.

Barthez made some horrible decisions this past weekend in Man U's 3-1 loss to Arsenal. If he continues to play as he has been, I doubt he will be in the nets in Japan/Korea.

I think the teams to beat will be England, Brazil (they will get their act together) and Argentina.

Well some months ago

Canada was scheduled to play against Columbia
a win or a tie would had bring Canada into the World CUp, first time since
MANY years.

Well the Soccer Authorities in Canada decided not to go to Columbia for "security" concerns"

 :bawling:
