My first time posting up on the boards and I just wanted to say that many of the members here are a very valuable resource because of their knowledge.

Unfortunately alot of the information on these boards is scattered all over and difficult to put together into a solid plan.

I was just wondering if anyone had a good website or the title of books that would be useful for someone who is attempting to gain mass and strength to be more competitive in sports like boxing, kickboxing etc. (not for purposes of bodybuilding)

Your information is highly appreciated!

reading books is good and certainly important. but my advice to you is to seek out those who have done what you want to do, and probe them for advice on training, nutrition, etc. ive learned alot from books, but i think ive learned more from talking to, and training with people that can help me reach my goals.

I agree with Liftbig. I've gotten so much from reading posts of people on this board, and reading some articles written by people with goals similar to mine.
