thanks for the quick response.ill take your word for it.i was only doing it to sweat faster cuz i was running late for something.i usually just lie there and hope there isnt anybody naked right next to me when i open my eyes...ive had bad experiences
i do my pushups in the sauna and/or steam sauna... i make sure i get water between sets and some liquid aminos before, during and after...
...any reasoning on why this is a bad idea?...
i figure it just makes you tougher...
Popular but not sure its effective and its certainly not a workout. Just because you sweat people are tricked into thinking its a tough way to get in shape therefore worth doing. It's smoke and mirrors. Good for the joints and some stretching but your athletic performances also decreases an estimated 5% for every 1lb of water you drop. Also for the augmented guys I would worry about their blood pressure.

Certainly. That being said, I don't discount it being a great way to work on flexibility etc. The Eastern Block countries had some much research on hot/cold therapy for recovery along with adaptogenic supplements.
