Working on a weakness

needsleep

New member
My weak area in terms of strength and size has always been my arms, both triceps and biceps. I want to work on these particularly, but I am unsure how to go about this.

I use DC training and have been doing so since February, had a month of OVT training in May though.

Anyway, how should I go about improving on this weakness?

I went from 170lbs to 220lbs in a year of training (fat and muscle)and have dieted down to 195lbs, I've stopped this diet now I feel I have lost the fat I gained. I have started back up with eating DC style but I am doing hiit 2x a week and am now swimming a couple evenings a week to try and stave off any fat gains as I hated dieting.

Well at 220lbs my arms were 15" at 195lbs they are 14 1/2, compare this to my best body part my legs which are currently 27" and I have a 32" waist. (5' 11 1/2" height).

I look good, but it does look like my arms just do not go with my body I have built. I am going through what I can do about this and need some input from people experienced with working on a weakness like this.

It does annoy me as of course any weakness is very obvious especially to myself. I badly want to do what it takes, but not sure what I should be doing.

any advice out there?

Adjust your traning split to put more emphsis onto your weak point, to bring them up and improve their apperance inaccordance to the rest of your body.
Really you need to change your programme to concentrate on the deficiency.

Also your weakpoint i.e your arms will feel alot worse to you than they actually appear to other people.

It is god that you recognize that you have a weak point and are prepared to put the work in it will come.
