Congrats bro! Girls are the best...take it from me, my little girl is my best buddy, and she looks to her daddy for everything! Daddy/daughters love is stronger than any love in the world! Congrats! Trust me when I say that you will be happy you have that girl. There is something about having a "daddy's little girl" that a boy cant come close to. I have 2 boys and a girl and I love them to death, but that little girl is my world!

lolol...I have four girls and with girls 3 and 4 everyone asked if we were tryin for a boy...I said...why???
my girls are tomboys, play with trucks, dirt, are athletic, like fishing AND can do their hair (and now the older two makeup) and get dolled up and wear dresses and act like ladies

Yep. He's been picked up again since then for DUI and suspended DL....
And no charges ever got filed so I am in the clear, the guy found out the cops and 3 eyewitnesses were going to bat for me.

We are wanting to have 3, so hopefully somewhere in there is a boy or two.
I think I just wanted a boy first since I know the ins and outs so to speak. I know how their thought process works and how simple it is to make a little boy happy.....give his ass a baseball glove and a slingshot and he's set until he's like 15...
Safe I guess....whereas a girl, I'm lost. No idea wtf goes on in their little heads and what makes them happy.
I want to provide a happy childhood for them, but the last thing I want to do is over do it and raise a spoiled entitled little brat/punk.
Gotta find the happy medium I guess

I wish I had a pic of it but I came home to find my then three yr old putting barrette bows in my husbands high and tight
she managed to get like 15 of the things in there
All we can hope as dads of our little girls is that they will always know that daddy will protect them, and that we pave the way for them to make the right decisions...but just really enjoy the early years and spend as much time as you can with them in their most influential years, and give her all the love in the world!

Congratulations my friend. Since I'm new here, forgive me if I'm speaking out of line, but if this is your first child...rest assured the day you walk out of that Delivery Room with your child in your hands...You walk out an entirely different person than the one who walked in. Fatherhood is a wonderful experience. I didn't know if I was prepared at the time, but looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. Love them, care for them, teach them by example...and you will reap the reward.
I'm looking forward to it, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who had second thoughts. I'm more worried about if I'm mature enough, but I'm gonna rise to the occasion! Thanks my man!
