How's the training going?? I'm trying to cut a little for a play I am doing next month. Down to 212 but I feel small.

Funny you should ask. Her mother decided to stick around rehearsal last nite. Coincidence?? I think not!!

Actually, we stopped just before the big scene, because the director wanted it to be just the two of us and him the first couple of run-thrus. I'm pretty sure he did it for her comfort as she seemed sorta jittery last nite.(she kept missing lines on the scene where BO confesses that Cherry is the only woman he has been with - stuff she usually nails) so we're gonna do it Monday. Now she's gonna worry about it the next 5 days instead of getting it over with. LOL!!

BTW - did I tell you "Behold the reason why I love the theatre?"

OMG!! Pig snort. I might have to actually use that to break some tension. The last time I had to kiss a woman in a play was sorta the same way. She'd never done a play before and she said she was nervous. I asked her what I could do to help. She said basically that there was nothing I could do as she was embarassed. So I stripped off my warm-up pants to the bicycle shorts I had on underneath and told her that we were even. I was embarrased as hell, too. Things were cool after that though.

I just found out that Don Murray, who played Bo in the movie, got an Oscar bid for that role. I never would have thought it. Am I bitter? Yes I am!!

Thanks for the words. It's very discouraging at times. My director hinted at possibly nominating this role for some state-wide awards ceremony at the end of the year. So, that helped a bit. My agent in Atlanta is pissing me off. She hasn't even booked me for an audition in months. The slasher flick - I got on my own. We are thinking of moving to Ca next year to be a closer to the major action.

I do it because I love it. Money or no money, it ain't really that big of a deal when you look at the big picture.
