i wanted to get yall's advice on anavar. from what i can tell, i have a very similar build as smalls. i am 5' 5", about 15% bf now, and weigh about 118lbs. i am also wanting the same look as she stated in her post. due to the fact that i have never used gear (have only pondered the idea), i am kind of clueless as to what dosages, general price, etc. (i know where to get it at least! :) ) i also realize i need to do more research on my own, but i really wanted you guys advice!!! you guys really seem knowledgeable!!! and awesome....(NO....i am NOT brown nosing! HA! :)) getting back to the point, i would be very much a newbie as far as anavar is concerned....but not weight training. so with that info....being somewhat broad...can anyone help??? at this point, anything will be helpful! anavar is definately becoming more of a reality everytime i ponder the idea! i truely believe i would love the results!!! thanks everyone!!!! :D

btw smalls, very interested in seeing your results!!!

well i might be newer to lifting (it's been about a year now), but i've spent most of my life as an athlete. i know how i gain muscle, and i know my body is TOTALLY responding to the anavar in a way that i know would take much much longer to achieve normally.

as long as you are aware of risks and risks with the different brands of anavar, etc., i think you should be able to make an informed choice.

most would recommend you take 5mg for 1-2 weeks and then go up to ten. i'm not going any higher than ten even though i've seen some of the women go as high as 15mg on here.

can anyone else offer any more info? no matter how broad it might be?

again, i am doing my own research as well, but i want to hear about your experiences! that is another wonderful tool in learning. your experiences will help me make my decision in addition to doing my own research.

yep... start at 5mg.... bump to 10mg. i would run the cycle for 10-12 weeks if i were u. u will see some niiiiice results with that.

BTG oxandrolone (anavar) is said to be the best kind to get ur hands on so try to get those if u can. they come is 2.5 mg tabs. start at 2.5mg then but to 5mg a couple weeks later...then u can go up to 7.5 for the rest of the cycle. u wont need to go higher than that. especially if ur going to do a longer cycle.
tt anavar comes is the one that comes in 5mg tabs so u would take i tab in the AM and on in the PM for a total of 10mg a day.

just keep ur diet clean and train hard. ur gonna luv it! anavar has a short half life so if u experience so bad sides u can back off and ur sides will subside quickly. its good for getting hard...losing bf and putting on some nice quality muscle. its a very "safe" choice for ur first cycle. keep reading and asking questions. good luck and enjoy!:)
 
After having read the many, many posts on anavar and observing the difference that this particular AS has made for Smalls, I have a question. I have been weight training for several years and don't really have a problem putting on muscle. My problem is becoming harder and leaner. My diet is clean and I have a pretty good regimen as far as training is concerned. I am not looking to put on more mass, only become harder and leaner. I had thought that Anavar would be a good first choice, taking into consideration the sides and what I am trying to accomplish, to jump across this plateau that I have reached. Will Anavar help or does it just help to build mass? Any feedback ia appreciated!
 
Hey Takniteasy,,,, Anavar is can be a good cutting and a good bulking cycle. It depends on how u train, and how you eat while on the anavar. I used the var to gain more muscle and to harden up. If you just want to become harder,,,The anavar will keep what muscle u do have while u are on a restricted diet and do your cardio routine.
 
Thanx for the reply HBG. I had thought it could be used for hardening and prevention of muscle loss while cutting, Has anyone else had actually used Anavar for the same purpose and what results did you have?
 
I have used the var for a building mass cycle,,,,but as u can see in my avatar,,,and i posted some recent pics on another thread,,,,,,i have definitly gotten bigger,,harder and alot leaner and cut. what kind are u thinking about taking?

I guess also considering the smalls post -- what are your goals and are they something that requires AS? Have you reached your "natural potential"? Do you want to compete? Why consider AS?

Now discuss amongst yourselves!

the use of anavar...if i so choose to use it...is very far in my future. i just want to learn more about it not only due to the fact that it is so much of the bbing world, but b/c it may possibly help me attain my long term goal. i have been an athlete my whole life and have lifted off and on for almost seven years. i have been slack in more recent years and am recently hitting it harder again. i have a hard time putting on weight (like smalls). i have already made the decision to continue hitting the gym as hard as i have been to attain what i can naturally. i have a lot of friends like BM that have had great gains naturally. and it may be possible that i can attain the look (like BM...i want to look like her....that "kind" of look in her bikini pic) without ever having to use any type of gear. only time is going to answer that question for me (along with research). (btw, doing for personal satisfaction and not bbing contests, etc.) i guess i am just educating myself presently, in case i do decide to use in the future. just wanted to see everyone's opinions on the pros (gains, bf% , before and after, etc.) and cons (sides you experienced personally...b/c i realize each of us is different and may or may not have ertain sides) that each of you have experienced on a personal level. that is probably more of what i i was trying to learn from ya'll! the facts i can find on my own although any information would greatly be appreciated!

i am just trying to LEARN. there is nothin wrong with knowledge. like my dad always told me "knowledge is power! and nobody can ever take that away from you!" :)
