His diet and training need to be in order before gear. Not the other way around. He should use that money to buy supplements, healthy food, books on training/nutrition (or a computer), and get his bf tested if he has not done so already. Maybe get a personal trainer.
And as stated above, it is also my understanding that if a person's bf % is too high, there will be little gained (if anything) from a test cycle. Seems like a complete waste of time not to mention funds.
But if he is going to do it anyway, helping him do it safely is in order. Just hope he doesn't honestly believe in the whole magic pill idea.
