Winny and Cholesterol

Temple

New member
Winny even at low doses can make a big difference in hdl/ldl
I posted that in Aug after 8 weeks of Bratis Ox (which was actually winny) 10mg/d
my #'s were
Cholesteral 227
Triglycerides 119
HDL 42
LDL 161
HDL risk factor 5.4
VLDL 24

Just had then rechecked last week
(I have been using 30mg deca wk)

total cholesterol 175
hdl - 55
Ldl - 95

My question is that now that we know my numbers are good normally is it safe for me to cycle the 17AA's and what is the longest I should use them and how long in between cycles???

It's not a question of 'safe' or not. It's just a question of what risks you are willing to take. Bad lipid profiles are both a symptom of a liver under stress, and an independant risk factor for problems later in life. Poor lipid profiles may also be predisposing you to subclinical problems with insulin and blood sugar, and this is likely to get worse with age. Certainly if you wish to continue to take the alkylated AAS, you should take extra care to keep your diet clean, exercise regularly, and avoid any other drugs or stresses to the liver. Then again, that's pretty good advice for just about everyone regardless of what drugs they take!

Arterial plaques/foam cells appear to need 3 things to form: They need insulin to be high, cholesterol to be high, and leptin to be high. If you can remove or eliminate any one of these, the other become less important.
