question about wine because i'm clueless.
i got my hands on a bottle of wine that's now 18 years old. it's been opened and it's half gone. there's some small pieces in the bottle, but i think they're cork, cause the cork is kinda screwed. It's Ernest and Julio Gallo Northern Sonoma Zinfandel.
question one - is it still good to drink?
Question two - is it worth drinking?
i also picked up a bottle of a "local" wine from Bucks Country Vineyards which is in New Hope, PA. it's a Pennsylvanis Niagra. bottle is still sealed. no clue on the age, although i'd imagine this bottle has been sitting around for 10 years.
didn't pay for either of them, so no money wasted. just curious about all of it cause i don't normally drink wine, but occasionally i have people over that do and i don't care to poison them (or if the first one is bad, then i have a few people that i would like to have drink it
).
thanks.
