Windows XP windows help...

I have 2 problems with my windows in Windows XP. First of all when I get too many windows, it will condense all the similar ones (like IE) into 1 item on my task bar. How do I get rid of that? I hate that, I just want it to make them smaller like in 98. Also whenever an IE window updates, it pops that window up. I dont want that, it's really annoying when I go click to load a page them go read another page and the page that is loading keeps popping up.

they think the "condensed window" is a perk,I don't mind it myself.And as far as the other problem,if it's the hp center,go into your start menu,settings,control panel,add and delete programs,then find hp center and delete it.

the condensed window problem your talking can easily be fixed. Right click on your taskbar, then go to properties, then uncheck "group similar taskbar buttons".

If anyone can find a solution to his other probs, I'm all ears. It happens with XP and win2k. Both are runnign ie6. I can't stand when another page that is loading pops up in front when it's done. Gets annoying as hell when you're multitasking at work
