windows xp serial question...computer help

my friend and i just reformatted his harddrive...we installed 98 the regular way with his cd and key info.

now i have a cd i made from irc Windows XP however every serial i try doesnt work...i tried mine that i legiatmatelly bought and others that i downloaded from kazza...

how can i get to bypass the intsallation cd key or what do i put in for one to continue to change his OS from Windows 98 to XP.

The serial #'s are compared with ones that Microsoft knows have been released on the internet. If it matches it won't let you use it; or if you install it on a different machine than last time. Only a few pieces of hardware can be different from the first install.

the pirate xp pro serial is FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8 most of the time. The fck code is almost as know of as the Contra 30 lives good. I have retail version of XP and it runs better than the pirated one. I've ran them both on the same machine.
