Will US fabricate WMD evidence?

But I thought we were supposed to "support our troops," right, pro-war peeps?

Supporting them while they are fighting for our country is one thing.

Supporting them while they attempt to extort money from our government is another.

Almost all of those are bullhsit. Very few were actually exposed to something or had the possibility. I wonder how many other nations soldiers that were there in Desert Storm I have got the same mystery illness?

We do support our troops.

And yes, I believe that we will exterminate everyone who even remotely had a role in 911.

if they are serious about Syria then yes, they had better find some

Well, they can´t find any because that sneaky Saddam send all the WMD to Syria. That´s why it is necessary to invade Syria, too.

Gulf War Syndrome is yet another production of the "liberal" media. Repeated studies have shown that the incidence of organic problems among Gulf War vets is no greater than among the general population. Moreover, the number claiming to suffer the syndrome who were actually exposed to nerve gas is smaller than those who weren't exposed. Thousands who weren't exposed claim to be suffering the syndrome.

There is some speculation that the numerous inoculations soldiers received plus the insect repellants they wore may have created some problems, but that is still very up in the air. Short-term studies have dismissed it.

What many Gulf War vets do exhibit is classic psychological problems but most, viewing their problem as organic, won't consult with psychologists.

Of course it's difficult to say the media is acting so "liberal" in tis case, since their unquestioning promotion of the illness as real "supports" the soldiers. However, since the media accuse the Pentagon of a cover-up, they are acting like liberals. I guess reporters can act like conseratives in the same way that soldiers can act like welfare cases.

I think Saddam either has chem/bio weapons or has the ability to produce them quickly. I'm not sure that justifies this war though. The same justifications could easily be applied to a number of countries throughout the world but for some reason we're only invading the one that tried to kill our president's daddy.

The US may look like it failed to you or the rest of the world. Americans feel heroic right now with or without WMD's. Finding them is only icing on the cake. Dubya doesn't need them to win re-election. Given the typical American attention span, interest in Iraq has about one week left.

Probably true. That was certainly the case with Gulf War I, but of course that war didn't leave us with a country to occupy and rebuild at enormous cost during a recession.

And, as we all know, Poppy Bush's triumph in the Middle East was insufficient to distract Americans' from the failing economy of the time. Thus it probably is in Dubya's interest to continue war mongering. It makes him very popular.

Meanwhile, just like in his daddy's case, Americans don't think much of his skills with the economy. A majority, 80 percent in a poll released today, say they think it is more important to maintain current domestic programs than cut taxes. Just over 50 percent believe it is more important to reduce deficit spending than to reduce taxes. The poll, conducted by NPR, the Harvard gov. school and Kaiser Family, is here: http://www.npr.org/news/specials/polls/taxes2003/20030415_taxes_survey.pdf

More than half are most likely bullshit. People fucking mooching.

Yep. I know a guy that use to be in the Military. He supposedly had a problem with his knee, which was made up so he could get out of it. (although he did have a slight problem)

This is the same guy that continuously complains of ongoing pain just to receive a free handout. He now has a new car thanks to such ficticous claims.

Oh, and btw, he also plays softball and plays CATCHER - basically there is nothing wrong with his knee anymore. To his credit, he does wear a knee brace to make it more believable.
