Right amount of cals for EQ/VAR???

....I'm currently 5'11 216lbs about 11% bf. My goals are to get down to 8% bf and maintain as much size as possible. I started to diet 6 weeks ago and lost way too much mucle(15 total lbs). With a lot of help from someone on this board I think I have finally constructed a good diet with a little more cals.r I'm also running 60mg var/500mg eq for 12 weeks.

meal 1-protein shake/oats(360cals/27carb/46protein)
meal 2-chicken/potato(440cals/27carbs/68protein)
meal 3-post workout protein shake(210cals/69protein)
meal 4-chicken/rice(365cals/44carbs/34protein)
meal 5-8 hard boiled eggs/2tbspn peanut butter(320cals/26protein/32fat)
meal 6-protein shake/1tb flax/1tb peanut butter(435cals/46protein/30fat)

total-2130 cals/98 carbs/289 protein/ 62 fat

I take 1 r-ala pill 20minutes before meal 2 and meal 4 for carbs and I take 2 in the morning at 2 at night to protect my liver.

Lift 4 out of 7 days a week and do some sort of cardio at least 3 times a week. Any criticism welcomed. Do you think I have enough protein??

i'd try to up the protein a bit more... more calories in and burned off is better than less calories coming in and having to burn off less. (at least as far as keeping as much muscle as possible goes) if you stick to that diet then you should be able to drop a good amount of fat and with the eq/var i'd actually imagine you could pick up a few lean lbs.

Looks promising.

My only comment would be to evaluate how your gains are comming along around the 6 th week. Then, simply be open minded to make any necessary
adjustments.

Keep us posted.

Best of Luck

It looks good on paper, but everyone is different. I do better on a higher carb lower fat intake. You'll just have to stick to it and see if it works, but It looks good to me.
