I have just started an eight week primo 400mg on a taper and winny 50mg e.o.d. cycle and was wondering wether or not Proscar is effective in preventing or
reducing the hairloss that is attributed to these two A.S. as there seems to be a difference of opinion amongst the board members. Also if anyone has reliable info on wether drinking Winstrol Depot will produce the same results as drinking Winny V. as I thought the purpose of depot was to slow and regulate the rate of absorbtion. Thanks guys

Huck will answer your first question...

As for the second, winny depot and winstrol V are the same.

Alright, don't quote me on this but I'm sure that proscar will not be effective for aiding against hairloss for winstol or primo......only against test because it both clings to the same receptor site. I know one thing primo and winny are both very harsh on the hair. But Seriously, it all comes down to if your prone to mpb...Oh, by the way winny is just as effective on drinking it to pointing it!

BUMP!!!

I need some reliable info on this as the searches I have done have only clouded the issue even more with some members saying not to do Winstrol without Proscar if you care about your hair and others saying that it is only effective against exogenous Testosterone induced hairloss!

This is the answer I got.....

I asked the same question, and unless your taking test, propecia/
proscar will have littles effect. With deca, finasteride eccelerates
hair loss.

No,it will not help with those items.Only test, and to a lesser degree equipoise(Bill Roberts actually pointed this out)convert to dihydrotestosterone in scalp tisue.Even though the above two items start with DHT as they're buiding blocks, once they reach the scalp they are converted to different steroids, which proscar will not effectively block from binding to the scalp/hair follicle...Topical androgen blockers such as flutamide or spiranolactone(sp?)are the medicines of choice...

Thanks lads those are the sort of authoritive replies I was hoping for, supported by facts. One question to Yellow Bomber I know this subject has been done to death on this board but most board members seem to agree that it is okay and sometimes even better to drink winny rather than inject it, so do you have a particular experience or reason as to why you feel injecting is the only way?:)
