Will prednisone mask Deca?

I'm thinking about a cycle of deca(just 5 weeks @ 200 mg w/ 20 mg Dbol ED, and 50 mg clomid after last shot for 2 weeks), but the 18 mo. detectable time is pretty nasty. I know prednisone will keep you from testing positive if you've been doing anyhting to raise your test levels above the gov. bodies' limits, will it do the same for deca even if it's lipid soluble?

LIsten, if you are worried about being tested stay away from deca. Just because you ratios are in line. The metabolites of deca can still show up.

There are lots of options other than deca that will work just as good.

I think you need to do a little more research. You don't start Clomid immediately after your last shot. With Deca yoyu start 3 weeks after your last injection....

If you get tested why on earth would you be considering Deca when there are so many other steroids you could use?

STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM PREDNISONE. it is a nasty little motherfucker, i know been on it for 3 years, it works for almost everything,because of that most doctor call it a horse drug.
it will make you bloat then times worser than test. and it is catabolic to muscles. It will make your bones smaller, so you will brake you're bones earlier. It has much to much sides effects, take an other steroid that is detectable as long!

I agree. My dad takes it for Cluster Headaches. (One step past a migraine.)
They fuck him up. It really screws with his legs. I dont know why.
He also has prescription Morphine at home : )

Prednisone is a really strong med -- as everyone advises. I would avoid it like the plague.

Anyway, a deca/prednisone combo would be a waste. Two different goals. Do you want to build-up or break-down (other than to pass the test)? Limit inflammation/swelling? Kind of like trying to cut on a 4000+ calorie/day diet.

Yeah. But the athlete probably would not have gotten that far without Deca. Or any other gear. I hope the guy at least got some endorsement $$$ along the way.

I don't neccessarily agree with that. He could have used other substances. And even used deca far enough out. There are lots of drug combos which will build as much strength as deca.

Hell he could have been on hgh, slin, and prop or suspesion all the way through the competition and not got caught. If the truth be known the dude wasn't even on any thing during that particular competition. And probably had not taken deca in over a year. But when you hold that much fat you can keep the metabolites in your system for a couple of years.

Ever see "Personal Best" -- the 80's flic about track stars? (It had what I think to be the first lesbian encounter on the big screen. Hemingway and the ugly girl.) In it, a big guy (probably a shot-putter) sings about the pitfalls of nandrolone. Deca and its analogues have been at the top of track & field for a long time.

Finally, the comment about the shot-putter is really a side issue. The post is more about prednisone and its dangers.

Yes I realize that, but that was the 80's and most atheletes are realizing that deca is no longer an option and records are still being broken (btw - I competed in NCAA track and field in the early 90's so I know a little bit about what goes on from the inside)

and that was a great lesbo seen - to bad the first time I watched it I was sitting with my mom. And she fucking changed the channel - said it was unatural or some kind of bullshit. That ruined that seen for me forever.
