Hey --
Let me start by telling you my stats:
Lbs: 205
BF%: 27%
Lean body mass: 147lbs
Height: 5'9''
My goals
BF%:7-10%
Lean body mass: 175lbs-180lbs
Let me give you some background. I've never really trained hard except last year. I had a professional trainer -- this guy was intense. Worked with him for 2 months. Got my weight down to 187. Physically I was strong. After 2 months of training he left and he took my motivation with him.
For a long time I've been down. I've have my grandfather dying of brain and lung cancer. My job wasn't everything I wanted it to be. All this just kept me down. On top of this all, my girl left me.
So where does one go when you're left with nothing? There's only one direction and that's up. So I started my online journal -- Will Is Everything -- it's time for me to man up and take my own destiny in my hands.
How dedicated am i? My girl and I were suppose to climb Mt. Washington. She told me I wasn't in shape to do it the last day i was with her. Something snapped in my mind. I'll show you. Well guess what -- I did it and i did it alone. She brought me to my knees and it's about time I get up and show myself I can do it and the mere satisfaction of sculpting myself into something I've never seen before -- the pain I have will be used as fuel.
So I wanted to join a forum where I can get some advice etc. Do my goals seem realistic to you all? I'm in it, the will is there, I want to organize myself. My b if this post is all over the place. I know losing fat and muscle take two different approaches. My goal is to get beach body, want to show my abs and a chest. I'm giving myself 1 full year. I bought New Rules and wanted to know if any of you have any experience with Lou's book? Thanks
