Well depending on what type of discharge you get.
If you got a Honorable or General nothing really changes.
If you get an Other than Honorable or Dishonorable you will be required to explain to potential employers why you got out.
Getting discharged means you lose all incentives that you were ever given. Bonuses will be recouped, education money will be recouped.
They can also turn you into local law enforcement.
