My neighbor and I gave a contractor 4K to put up our fence. The whole job is about 5K. The check was made out in July and he still has`nt come.

Last I heard He`ll do it either this weekend or Tuesday the latest. lol

Yes it`s wrong on many levels. But I have faith.

We looked at the vinyl and at 3x the cost of cypress said no thanks.

It's nice and never needs maintenance, but the hard water down here from the sprinklers tends to stain it from the iron...

Was the check written out to him or his company? If it was him, then you can sue him personally and he can not run and leave his empty corp to take the brunt.

People who screw people like this occasionally have gasoline dumped on the back porch and lit up at 3AM. Too bad they’ll be living in Motel 8 for a while.

I`m actually gonna put a vinyl deck also. I love it but it`s still new so...

I already have the vinyl around my backyard this fence is just the gates. I did`nt want to do that job myself.

He`s putting up 3 gates for me (one of them a double gate) and a fence to divide the 2 houses (in a straight line) then a fence in front of the neighbor`s house. (straight also, with a center gate)

AAP, I think I got your contractor to do my sheetrock. 4 months ago. He NEVER came back lol He`s definately gone. and I still have the sheetrock in my backyard. Never bought them inside. I wonder if I could return them to Home Depot even if I did`nt pay for them.

He bought them and I reimbursed him for the money. hhmmm

UPDATE

The fence guy cam and did a terrible job. lol It`s so funny how someone can erect fences EVERY DAMN DAY and still mess up as he did.

He said he`d be done in one day. He came 2 days so far and he`s still measuring stuff to order the fence! We paid him in JULY!

He put up a couple of pieces in the WRONG places. I have to take pictures for my neighbor (in case she goes to court) so maybe I`ll post them here.
