Will ArmorAll Ruin my Dash with One Use?

My daughter gave me a present by detailing my truck last night. She did a good job but she used armorall on my dash. I heard it cracks the dash because it dries it out. Do you think that will happen after one use? If yes, should I use soap and water to get it off?

I don't think it will hurt just one time. I would use windex to get it off. Thats what I clean my dash with. It was sweet of her to do your truck for you.

the armourall would actually help cause it moistens it not dries it out, No?

The alcohol dries it out over time. One use won't kill it. Run over it with some of that clear stuff they use on tires. I forgot the name.

Naw, man. ArmorAll is good. It's like sunblock for plastic, and the UV in sunlight is what causes your dash to dry out and crack.

I'd get the low-gloss version (so you don't go blind from sun glare), but keep using it.
