will an ECA decrease effectiveness of BC Pill?

I was just curious if products such as Dymetadrine or Xenadrine will decrease the effectiveness of Birth Control Pills? My girlfriends wants to start taking Dymetadrine to help her get some more definition and more energy during her workouts but neither one of us want her to get pregnant either...anyone know about this?
