will accutane block off test acne?

Lets say you're doing a cycle of test, and are on accutane at the same time. Will the accutane block out the test acne even though that's more hormonal than cause by excess oil (or is that the same thing?)?

Accutane does not attack acne itself, but actually prevents it from being able to form by changing the internal pore structure of your skin.
Once a treatment of accutane has been done, acne should not be a probblem for you, at least not the nodular kind, you still may get a few red heads and white heads now and again, but there numbers will be reduced dramatically.
Oh yea, accutane needs anywhere from two to three months worth of treatment at 1mg/ kg of body weight per day for the effects to be permanent.
Sometimes a second round of treatment is necessary in extreme cases.

if your geting the accutane prescribed the dr. is most likely gonna make you come in for check ups on colesterol and other things. they will discontinue it if your levels get too high. test will also raise colesterol so i wouldnt use it with the test unless you use small doses while on, that might help with the acne from test.

Accutane; once kicked it, will block off acne, no matter what; once its in your system nuthing can really distrupt it.

If you are using it for preventitive methods then i suggest you start accutane consumption a month ahead of time to kick start your oil gland to dry out, otherwise once the hormones active the gland, even if you start accu, it will get progressively worse before it gets any better. The trick is to kill the enemy at its source before it even gets a chance to do damage.

Btw if you going this route, eat a clean diet. Very low on SAT fats and high on Omega 3's. Also eat lots od soluble fibre ie. Oatmeal...etc....This is assist in keeping your Cholesterol levels at bay; however this is no guarentee.

good luck.

Accutane shrinks the oil glands in the skin, reducing/eliminating acne.
It's used for a minimum of 5 months, most times 6months, to be effective. I had to use it in 2 sessions cause the acne came back.

As far as blood work, you have to get off the gear or go on something mild, liek EQ or Deca.

thanks for your replies guys

ive been on accutane for.. a bit over a month now. Doctor perscribed and monitored and all taht good stuff. I've never had any acne anywhere other than a little on my face, but even that was never bad, it just refused to go away.

A while back, The Almighty told me that he did a test cycle or something like that, while on dr monitored accutane, and his tests came back fine. Also, she said I had the lowest cholosterol level they'd ever seen there, so if it gets bumped up a bit I doubt it would be too much cause for concern...
