Will a 5/8" pin work for glutes?

I'm out of 1.5" pins and need that area as I'm on Fina (daily injections).

Will that size pin be okay as long as I press the pin a little further into the muscle?

I would not use a 5/8" pin for glute shots. I don't even like to use them for delt shots, they're too damn short. Use at least a 1" pin for glute shots (1.5" would be optimal)

eh, that's kind of pushing it... 1" is pushing it in terms of shortness for a glute shot, I don't think 5/8" is quite long enough..

Damnit. Guess I need to get some 1.5 inch pins.

So, why won't they work. I don't exactly have a lot of fat on my ass, so I'm not worried about actually injecting into muscle. Does it really matter how deep you inject?

just order some more. getpinz can prolly have them to you in 3 days - they ship USPS Priority. All I know is I used 1" and tried pushing it in further and my ass hurt for 2-3 days. 1-1/2" = no pain.

My math is a little rusty...would 1/2" 29gauge be ok to shoot fina? And if so, where all could I shoot it at? I guess 1/2" is smaller than 5/8, but would it still work?
