Plank and I have had our diffrences, but Plank is good people, and I consider him a friend other than on this fucking website. I befriended Glad cause, well, you niggas give the kid so much shit. 2nd, you know what threads i DON'T make? Threads about knocking up a skank and don't even know who's the real daddy until the kid is born. Or a REAL SWV thread about how the same skank cheated on me. Or threads about a "balling" ebay job making 60k a year that i didn't get paid on.

Glad has the amusing sense of invincibility of a teenager...I enjoy his threads, though, they make for good internet people watching. I don't think he cares much about the shit he gets but I do think he's more invested in the EF community than he wants to admit lol. His impulsiveness and grandiose, poorly thought through plans make me shake my head in disbelief at times but he's young and I remember being similar when I was a young teenager lol. I didn't have one silly get rich quick plan after another but everything I wanted to do, I wanted to be on an unrealistically elite level. When I realized it was unattainable or would take too long, it was on to the next grand plan haha. I wanted to be the best at something, or first to do something, and it had to happen in a short amount of time. My dreams were so ADD lol

Glad is the biggest provider of facepalm posts on EF (lol at him saying you are sorry you don't have a kid), but I get more lolls from you and others getting on his case than almost anything else here haha.

Actually you're not entirely wrong. That impulsive part of my youth re: my eventual career just comes out in my hobbies now. Scuba diving is the only thing that's had lasting power, and I know it will always be number one on my list for recreational stuff. In the last two years my ass has caught fire about freediving and spearfishing (still on that track, goes hand in hand with scuba so it will probably last), surfing, wakeboarding, rock climbing, and most recently the big game fishing.

I enjoy each little bit of excited "Yeah I'm gonna do this forever and be awesome!" and just hold myself back from investing any real money till I've given it enough time for the new to wear off and I can see if I actually like it enough to involve myself on the next level. I guess that's the biggest thing that changed as I grew up...I'm aware of the tendency I have and make sure I don't actually invest in it while it's fresh beyond riding it out till it's onto the next thing. For example I haven't bought proper freediving fins yet and I've been doing it about a year now.
